24 Jun How to Measure your Bra Size Correctly
Having the correct bra size for your breasts is very important. During pregnancy, your body & breasts are constantly changing & therefore it is important to pay attention to what your body needs so that you can adapt quickly.
Wearing the wrong size bra can cause headaches, neck pain, shoulder pressure, bad posture, it can affect your blood circulation & damage your breast tissue – crazy, we know!

If you can’t make it to our offices, and would rather do the sizing yourself, here are a few simple steps that can help you get the best-fitted bra for your breasts.
Step 1: Find yourself a measuring tape that measures in inches.
Step 2: Measure your underbust (bra band)
Measure around your underbust & write down your measurement – remember this needs to be in inches & the measuring tape should be snug. Round your measurement to the next whole number. For example, if you measure 27,7 inches, then round to 28. Your band size is, therefore, a 32.
Note: For a nursing bra, make sure to measure your breasts when they are at their fullest.

Step 3: Measure your overbust (cup)
Now measure around your breasts where they are their fullest – again, round your measurement to the next whole number.
For example, if you measured 34,6 inches, then round up to 35 to get your bust size.
Step 4: Calculate your cup size
Now deduct your “band” measurement from your “cup” measurement & use the table below to work out your cup size.
Example (inches):
35” (cup) – 32” (band) = 3 (which means you are a C cup)
Therefore your recommended bra size is a 32C.
